What is skin needling? Skin needling is also called micro-needling therapy or collagen induction therapy. It is a minimally-invasive non-surgical and nonablative procedure for facial rejuvenation that involves the use of a micro-needling device to create a controlled skin injury. I use the EXCEED by amiea med, the first and only FDA-cleared medical microneedling device (popularly known as skin needling device) for the treatment of both acne scars (K182407) and facial wrinkles (K180778). These lead to the production of new collagen, elastin, and capillaries.
